Synopsis of
![]() Having won a Nobel Peace Prize for wresting nuclear weapons from the hands of individual countries, Michael Gavon's massive computer network, SYRINX has been given a new task by Dr. Marcus Hagar, Planetary Scientist... determine why the ecosystem of Biosphere II has failed. With the help of SYRINX's captain, Bevin Kendall, and with the support of the woman he loves, Marena San Leoni, Michael creates a model of the artificial environment which shows the cause of the failure; the ecosystems inability to cleanse itself of the day-to-day pollution and disruption. Dr. Hagar asks the question: "Could the same ecosystem collapse happen to Biosphere I... The Planet Earth?!" After years of solid work modeling the planet, and 70 weeks of raw computation, SYRINX answers the question. "Yes, it can happen!" In fact, it has been happening... The final result is that the Planet Earth will be unable to support it's own citizens by the year 2150. But worse than that, the Earth will be unable to heal itself starting in the year 2015. At that point, damage becomes irreversible and planetary death is inexorable. Michael Gavon must become the ultimate "Solution Provider." Given carte blanche from the UN and many other global organizations and interests, his corporation OmniScience, embarks on a critical crusade: Revitalize the planets regeneration capability, or face the death of the world as a whole. Through a campaign of information and motivation, the Scientific Congress, SCEPTRE shows the way to make necessary changes, and much progress is made. But we are left with 4 sticking points, and without the answers to these, the world as a whole is doomed:
With the outcry against one world government surpassed only by the outcry to save the planet, the UN steps aside and gives its authority to C.R.O.W.N... And so, with the clock ticking away, C.R.O.W.N. and it's enforcement and deployment arm, SWORD, strive to save the people of earth, all the while facing humanities greatest enemy... What would you give to prevent your own extinction? How far do you go to save the world as a whole? Is Michael Gavon the New Savior? Is CROWN a nightmare-come-true? Perhaps both? |
